About This Project

This Palm Beach commercial project I completed is located at the world famed “Breakers Hotel” in Palm Beach Florida. Part of the final phase of over an $80 million renovation and redesign, I was commissioned to design and install all five floors of the ocean front “north tower” including two presidential suites. All accommodations feature a fresh, updated new décor in a distinctive yet classic style that offers the highest standards for their guests comfort.

In addition, I was also commissioned to re-vamp the world famous Breakers Hotel lobby, which I was honored to execute as well as the pool, “The Spa” and yoga locations on its property. The color palette I chose took inspiration from the tropical oceanfront location, where guests can savor the relaxed yet glamorous Palm Beach lifestyle.

Staying true to the resort’s heritage, the artwork I hand selected from the Palm Beach City Archives offers a nostalgic glimpse into the Breakers Hotel past. All accommodations feature marble bathrooms, custom-designed case goods, furnishings and custom light fixtures all designed by Derick Bolinder. The elegant and residential quality of these rooms befits the expectations of the resort’s legacy discerning guests from around the world.
